The URJ Kutz Camp is celebrating its 50th summer! Plans are underway for a joyous celebration at camp in Warwick, NY, on July 3-4, 2015.
Early Bird event registration is now open and can be found on the register tab of this page. Registration will close on June 17, 2015.
Kutz@50 is our time to reconnect with old friends and make new ones, sing songs and dance, and pray together. We will contemplate Kutz’s effect on our development as Jewish youth and beyond. Kutz@50 will mirror the experience we had at camp – a balance of pure fun and personal growth.
We invite and welcome everyone home, and we need your help. We want to engage all alumni who find Kutz to be his or her home. We need you to reach out to old friends and invite them to join you at the Kutz@50 celebration. Kutz is a special place because of the community 46 Bowen Road builds. Let’s work together to reunite our community from every corner of the globe.
Kutz is flourishing and young Reform Jewish teens are growing in song, dance, programming, and Jewish leadership. Camp has experienced change over time. Programming has evolved. Kutz’s physical space has grown to fit camp’s current needs. But what hasn’t changed is the most magical – the passion, the feeling in the air, the willows, prayer in the Teyatron overlooking the lake, and most importantly, Shabbat softball.
Take a moment to think back to your favorite Kutz moment. Now, think about returning next summer. If you will it, it is no dream.
See you at camp and welcome back home.
